After earning a B.A. and M.A. in Creative Writing, I grew my editorial muscle at the OXFORD AMERICAN magazine, then headed to NYC to flex it as the Copy Director of an advertising agency, where I led the copy initiative for the redesign of DuncanHines.com. For the past decade, I've collaborated with brands and creators to: -effortlessly shift between digital and print -maintain consistent brand voice -develop voice & tone for emerging brands -name new brands -write product descriptions -create social media copy -curate strategic content -engage audiences through effective & compelling storytelling

During the pandemic, I quit city life and moved to a moss-covered mountain with breathtaking views in every direction. I'm happily still here, writing from a cottage I share with my talented cinematographer husband, our three incredibly cool kids, a dog, and two frogs.
